With his unique, genre-bending take on pop music, Philly-born, Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Fluencee has burst onto the contemporary crossover scene with a groundbreaking sound and a story to tell. After being bullied throughout his childhood due to a lifelong stutter, Jason Heffler finally chose to own it by speaking "fluently"through his music.
Fluencee’s original songs and remixes alike have garnered support from a myriad of A-list talent including The Chainsmokers, Louis The Child, Firebeatz, Paul Oakenfold and many more. His live performances traverse the nation, highlighted by a landmark set at Electric Daisy Carnival (Orlando) and numerous Life In Color concert appearances from San Diego to New York, and everywhere in between. His original music has also been in rotation on Insomniac Radio (SiriusXM) and EDC Radio (iHeartMedia).
When he's not crafting official remixes for The Chainsmokers and garnering millions of online streams -- including his debut original track "Better" which peaked at #21 on Spotify's Global Viral 50 Chart --Fluencee lends his unique background and production prowess to inspire others. He was recently chronicled in YourEDM's Aspire to Inspire series, which profiles individuals who've overcome personal and professional challenges to encourage resilience and change.
